GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 171130
AAC+ stream doesn't work
Last modified: 2005-03-21 19:04:21 UTC
Please describe the problem: I like to listen the streams from http://www.digitallyimported.com/ and the AAC+ streams doesn't work in Gestreamer. I'm using Gestreamer with amaroK 1.2.1 player in Gentoo Linux (Kernel 2.6 and KDE 3.3.2) MP3 streams work well but not AAC+ streams. When I try to start one amaroK starts buffering it and then displays "Gestream error: Could not determine type of stream". AAC+ streams works well with foobar2000 in Windows altho foobar2000 can't display the real bitrate for them. foobar2000 is also using FAAD2 library. Steps to reproduce: 1. start aac+ stream from http://www.digitallyimported.com/ Actual results: amaroK displays Gestreamer error: Could not determine type of stream Expected results: Stream shoul start to play Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
Already fixed in CVS (for 0.8.9). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 166031 ***
