Description phparker 2005-03-20 00:36:55 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1
Package: file-roller
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.10.0 2.10.0
Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: file-roller crashes when creating a new folder in my home dir
Bugzilla-Product: file-roller
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: 2.10.0
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.10.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:
After downloading the citrix client for linux, I opened it using the
file-roller to extract the files. The root folder of the archive only
shows a blank folder. I can double click it to open the contents but I
thought I would try and extract the blank folder. Afte rclicking
extract I clicked on the home dir and then tried to create a new dir. It
then crashes.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Download citrix client to desktop (not sure if this happens with
other archives)
2. Open with file roller by double clicking
3. go to home dir
4. click create folder
5. Crash

Expected Results:
the ability to extract the files

How often does this happen?
Every time I open the file
