Description Grant Farnsworth 2005-03-19 07:29:46 UTC
1. Highlight a graph or other image in a pdf file.

Pressing control-C copies whatever text may be there, but there is no option to
copy that area as an image that can be pasted elsewhere.

I have friends who use windows only because acrobat and other readers don't have
this feature under linux. Actually the latest version of kpdf does have this
feature, and it's very useful.

I was just looking at the kpdf implementation and it's quite convenient. When
you release the mouse button after highlighting, it asks whether to copy the
text, copy the image, or save the image as a file.
