Description of the crash:

Gstreamer-properties only shows "Custom" for all sinks and sources. 
When "Test" is attempted the error message "GStreamer-ERROR **: No
default scheduler name - do you have a registry ?
aborting..." appears.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
    1. run gstreamer-properties
    2. select "Test"

Expected Results:
    Test sound should be audible

How often does this happen?
    Every time

    Slackware 10.1
    IBM Thinkpad T42p
