GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 170206
change in the font size in view as icons
Last modified: 2005-03-20 00:27:31 UTC
Please describe the problem: in nautilus 2.8, Icon View in nautilus follows global application font size whenever you use 100% or 75% zoom level. Say you have an 9pts font size in font preferences for application font, if you have a default zoom level of 100% then icon view text is 9pts. If you increase or decrease zoom level, font size is changed appropiately. If you have a default zoom level of 75% then the behaviour is the same and 9pts is used by default allowing to have smaller icons with a normal font size. This seems to have changed in nautilus 2.10 and is a regressions since now you can not have smaller icons with a normal font. I use a zoom level of 75% because icons are very large but now font size is very small. List View works as i expected like nautilus2.8. Using ubuntu hoary packages. Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
Set priority high and severity major since this bug has not got attention in 3 days and affects current version and is a very visible ui change. I know the behaviour was changed in November and the way it works know is the intented behaviour, but I consider this a bug, because icons view and list view is not consisten and has changed respect former versions.
