GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 169108
Continuous view
Last modified: 2005-07-21 17:53:56 UTC
Distribution: Gentoo Base System version 1.6.9 Package: gpdf Severity: enhancement Version: GNOME2.8.3 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Gentoo Synopsis: Continuous view Bugzilla-Product: gpdf Bugzilla-Component: general Bugzilla-Version: unspecified Description: Please describe your feature request: Please add a continuous view mode to gnome-pdf. This mode would allow a user to scroll "down" from the first page uninterrupted to the last page of the document. I realize that ghostview is used as a back-end to these pdf viewers and that it only renders one page at a time. However, it should be a simple matter to render the page before and after the current one and cache the results. These three tiles can be swapped around as needed to form a continuous display, or memory permitting the entire document can be pre-rendered in the background. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2005-03-03 11:49 ------- Unknown platform unknown.
