Description Tim Jedlicka 2005-03-03 07:27:18 UTC
Distribution/Version: Debian/kernel 2.6

I often work with a folder of photos. Some I need to crop at 3.5x5 inches,
others I need to crop the other way 5x3.5. I would like to see a radio button
in the selection dialogue that allows the width and height to be "flipped". i.e.
I'll enter
Width=3.5 inches
Height=5  inches
This works for my portrait selection, now I want a landscape selection, I hit
the toggle button and get a
Width=5  inches
Height=3.5 inches

An alternative would be to add a pull down menu of "standard" aspect ratios
8x10
10x8
3.5x5
5x3.5
4x6
6x4

I am tempted to mark this as a duplicate of bug #156858.

Let's do it, the standard aspect ratios are clearly a more logical choice than
the dimension-swapping.
