Description wjw 2005-03-01 13:54:02 UTC
A useful feature for the Measure Tool would be to also display the delta-x and
delta-y distances. I know that these can be calculated from the angle and
length that this tool already supplies, but dragging out a calculator to do this
is a pain. I suspect that the tool uses these measurements to calculate the
angle and distance anyway, so it would probably be just a matter of outputting
these. If there is some other way to do this, I haven't figured it out. If
there is, perhaps a note could be added to the help section for the measurement
tool.

Another option would be to allow the setting of relative origin point and then
displaying the deltas from this point to the current cursor location at the
bottom of the image window.
