Description Rafa³ Próchniak 2005-02-26 18:39:26 UTC
It is impossible to close find dialog simply by hitting escape. Mouse or alt+m
has to used, which is incosistent with typical UI behavior.

It is not "incosistent with typical UI behavior", in fact the escape keybinding
was disabled for consistency: see bug 115070 for the details.

Anyway in 2.10, we grew tired of this issue and just reenabled the escape shortcut.

I'm sorry, I haven't found 115070. Hig discussions notwithstanding, why "Search
files..." gets closed with esc? I like it, as I like the fact esc for find
dialog is reenabled in 2.10. Thanks!
