Description Sebastian Rittau 2005-02-26 17:50:09 UTC
I've started to use GEdit for some simple programming tasks. I noticed that the
dialogs (find dialog, go to line dialog) won't close when I press the escape
key. I would recommend to support this, as it eases the use of these
commonly-used dialogs. Hitting escape is much easier than pressing Alt-c.

Note that there was a reasoning behind the fact that the escape key didn't work
for the find dialog: see bug 115070 for the details.

Anyway in 2.10, we grew tired of this issue and just reenabled the escape shortcut.
