GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 168564
"Authentication Required" dialog restores to an abnormally large size after a gnome-session restore
Last modified: 2005-03-05 11:14:53 UTC
Please describe the problem: Upon restoring a (gnome-)session, Nautilus attempts to reconnect with an SSH-location by prompting the user with an authentication dialog. While this behavior is fine, the authentication dialog restores in a bloated fashion. See the attached screenshot. Steps to reproduce: 1.) Connect to a secure location using Nautilus. 2.) Make sure that the folder remains open. 3.) End the GNOME session, saving existing preferences. 4.) Reload the GNOME session. 5.) The authentication dialog should appear; however, bloated in size. Actual results: The authentication dialog restores bloated. Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:

+CONFIRMED +Severity TRIVIAL I can confirm that in 2.9.91 . The window is larger than usual but still not full-screen. However it is non-critical.
I have made a patch for libgnomeui in bug 169273 that fixes this and other HIG issues.
