Description C. Q. Crosby 2005-02-23 15:17:22 UTC
Please describe the problem:
in the Win32 version of the Gaim, When a link is displayed in a window and the
user moves the mouse over it, a small hover box appears
to show the full link. But if the user clicks the
link, the box remains on top of all windows, even after
the browser is launched. The user must navigate back to
Gaim to get the hover to go away.

Steps to reproduce:
1. type a link in the message window
2. click on the link.
3.

Actual results:
a tooltip like box pops up with the link information pops up, and even after the
browser launches, the tooltip does not dissapear.

Expected results:
i would expect for the tooltip to dissapear, allowing the page in the browser to
be fully viewed without the little yellow box being in the way.

Does this happen every time?
Yes. Unless you can click on the link and move it away within 500 ms

Other information:
no.
