Description Joel Aufrecht 2005-02-23 01:57:58 UTC
In almost all file Open dialogs, and in GIMP's file open dialog until recently,
there is a text box where you can type a file path. The good ones also do path
completion, and synchronize with the graphical part of the dialog. Some
fraction of users do in fact use this, and its removal from the interface is a
disconcerting and unwelcome surprise.
