Still here in 2.9.x.
Did this bug really occur in 2.8.x?!? I believe 2.9.x (I'm guessing this is a duplicate of bug 161361 but need to double check to verify), but could you double check which version you're actually running? Thanks.
this bug occur with metacity-2.8.6-2 gnome-panel-2.8.1-3 on fedora core 3
Hmm, I must have forgotten about how bug 161361 was triggered, because that is a bug that happens for 2.8.x as well. I tracked this down and it is indeed the same problem as the window selector--the _NET_CURRENT_DESKTOP message being sent without a timestamp causes problems.
