Description Jean-Baptiste Biard 2005-02-12 15:18:59 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1
Package: magicdev
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.8.1 1.1.6
Gnome-Distributor: Debian
Synopsis: gnome-cd-properties crashes while launching
Bugzilla-Product: magicdev
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: 1.1.6
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:
gnome-cd-properties crashes strait out of the box.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Select the Icon in the Application menu and boooom !

Expected Results:
App. launch.

How often does this happen?
Everytime, root or no root

Additional Information:
Error message when launched from a terminal:

(gnome-cd-properties:9119): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: file gdk-pixbuf-io.c:
line 769 (gdk_pixbuf_new_from_file): assertion `filename != NULL'
failed

Furthermore, the directory /media/cdrom0 is deleted each time the PC starts and I must re-create it as root in order to mount or burn anything in it. Maybe this is related ? But the error message does not seems to say that.

Best regards.
