Description John Richard Moser 2005-02-09 04:50:41 UTC
GSF files are Gameboy Advance music rips. I'd like to eventually see gstreamer
have a plug-in for GSF

GSF files have a structure very similar to PSF files, mentioned in another bug.
The homepage for this format, which includes several examples, source code for
a Winamp plugin, and a (very very sparse) spec, is located at
http://www.caitsith2.net/gsf/index.php .

A command-line player for these files for Linux can be found at
http://projects.raphnet.net/#playgsf , and is based on the Winamp plugin.
Source code is also available.

These players both appear to be licensed under the GPL.

We do have the GME plugin that already handles other game music formats. I think it would be good to request this format there:
