GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 166735
Error while trying to open/create FTP folders with only numbers in foldername.
Last modified: 2005-03-01 01:56:28 UTC
Please describe the problem: If you use Nautilus to browse FTP accounts and some folders are named with only numbers then you are unable to open and display the contents within. The foldername isn't displayed and instead you will see folder attributes as the foldername. If you create a folder with only numbers in the foldername then Nautilus displays it as unnamed and then it dissapears. Other FTP clients can see the folder though. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a folder with only numbers in its name in your FTP account with some other FTP-client. 2. Connect to the account with Nautilus and browse to the folder. 3. Try to open the folder. Actual results: An error message pops up: The folder contents could not be displayed. Sorry, couldn't display all the contents of "drwxr-xr-x 3 60398 somesite.com 15 Jan 8 00:22 2005". Expected results: I expect Nautilus to show me the foldercontents. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information:
