Description Vincent Noel 2005-02-08 21:34:06 UTC
Since a recent change in metacity, window unminimizing does not work well with
workspaces.

1. minimize a window
2. change workspace
3. select the minimized window in the window menu applet

The workspace the window is on is activated, but the window is not unminimized.
The window title appears in bold though, so it may come from this change :
        * src/window.c: (meta_window_activate): if the request came before
the last focus time, set the demands attention hint instead

"Window menu applet"? What's that?
Comment 2 Vincent Noel 2005-02-08 22:21:42 UTC
Sorry, I meant the "window selector applet". The menu thing.
Comment 3 Elijah Newren 2005-02-08 22:27:25 UTC
Ah. The change you highlight makes the problems more noticeable, but the real
problem is elsewhere and already existed. Of course, this does bump up the
priority of fixing the other bug...
