Description gjelle 2005-02-07 23:19:19 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1
Package: gnome-pilot
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.8.1 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Debian
Synopsis: gpilotd crashes during synchronization of "J9 MIDP Bundle"
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-pilot
Bugzilla-Component: gpilotd
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:
gpilotd crashes when my Palm Tungsten T3 is synchronizing . After
restarting the daemon and retrying to synchronize gpilotd crashed again.
gpilotd always crashes during synchronization of "J9 MIDP Bundle" (IBM
Java VM).

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Put the Palm Tungsten T3 in the cradle
2. Press the synchronize button
3. Wait for the synchronization to reach the "J9 MIDP Bundle"

Expected Results:
gpilotd crashes and the synchronization is aborted

How often does this happen?
Every time!

Additional Information:
When choosing "Restart" from gpilot-applet a dialog box with the text:
"Pilot sync is currently in progress. Are you sure you want to restart
daemon?" And then a "No" and a "Yes" button. If "Yes" is pressed the
daemon is not restarted, but when pressing "No" it is!
