Distribution/Version: 2.2.3

The GIMP is crashing on my system showing the same message while doing different
operations.

when i go to 
preferences->interface
and press the button "Reset Saved KeyBoard Shortcut to Default Values"

          &&
preferences->Input Devices
and press the button "Reset Saved Input Device Settings To Default"

          &&
preferences->Window Management
and press the button "Reset Saved Window Positions to Default Values"

The GIMP is showing the same error message and crashing.

the error message is

1st dialog box
==============

**WARNING (recursed)**: Couldn't load font "MS Sans Serif 8" falling back to
"Sans 8" aborting

2nd dialog box
==============

Program C:\Program Files\Gimp-2.2\Bin\Gimp-2.2.exe
abnormal program termination

showing these two dialog boxes GIMP is terminating.
