Last modified: 2005-01-31 16:43:01 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg) Package: eggcups Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.8.0 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc Synopsis: Submitting questionable PostScript from Command Line caused crash Bugzilla-Product: eggcups Bugzilla-Component: notification Bugzilla-Version: unspecified BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0) Description: Description of the crash: I typed "lpr -Pprinter file.ps" where file.ps was a hand-hacked line drawing created by XFig/Transfig and EggCups crashed out. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Take a simple ps file line drawing - add a page count manually after the showpage 2. lpr -Pprinter file.ps 3. EggCups crashes Expected Results: EggCups not crashing even if suspect postscript is printed from the command line! How often does this happen? Just did - don't know if it's reproducable. Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/eggcups' (no debugging symbols found)...Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
