Description milky_cow_101 2005-01-30 02:50:00 UTC
Please describe the problem:
1) Find as you type doesn't do boolean search. This is contrary to Mozilla
find-as-you-type. I propse an option in Nautilus preferences toggle it off and
on.

2) It doesn't work in "browse mode". With the tree view enabled however, it
searches in there but not in the main view.

3) F3/ctrl+g should go to the next result, Shift+F3/ctl+shift+g should go to the
previous result; copy Mozilla's behavior.

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Does this happen every time?

By "boolean" search, I mean that it only queries that start of your search term;
if it's elsewhere in the file, it can't find anything. With the proposed toggle
on, FAYT should look in the whole file name.
