Description Federico Mena Quintero 2005-01-28 02:20:30 UTC
When Evince starts with a document (e.g. "evince foo.pdf"), the document area
does not get the focus. This makes it impossible to hit PgDn or other keys
without clicking on the document area first.

This should be fixed in CVS HEAD. feel free to reopen if incorrect.
Comment 2 rwahl 2005-08-27 21:26:45 UTC
I'm not sure if the bug is fixed correctly. The focus style of my window manager
is "follow mouse" and if I start evince e.g. from an xterm evince grabs the focus
even if the mouse pointer is not over the evince window. This is very annoying and
maybe not HIG conform but I'm not sure.
Comment 3 Marco Pesenti Gritti 2005-08-27 22:33:59 UTC
This is unrelated to the original problem. I'm going to close this bug. You
could open a separate one providing more details (wm, evince version...). It
would be nice if you could verify it's not a bug with your wm before though...
