* Fix name and comment in .desktop
* Fix spacing, layout, icons and maybe labels in capplet
* Switch to GtkMessageDialog API and use HIG compliant primary/secondary messages
* Switch to gtk_window_set_default_icon_name
* maybe other :-)

It seems to work, but I didn't test if all alerts will appear and work proper

But it's a fix or a feature addition? 

Please note that a couple of alert strings don't appears in po (ones provided by
#define) and so are untranslated :-(
