Description Enver ALTIN 2005-01-22 22:33:08 UTC
It would be great to have a global shortcut defined to create a new note.

sticky notes has both
"New Note" and
"Delete Note" but I think it would make a whole lot more sense not to make
create unnecessary translation work by sticking Note on the end of everything.
I think it would make much more sense to use GTK_STOCK_NEW and the stock
keybinding Ctrl+N (and similarly use GTK_STOCK_DELETE. maybe something that is
difficult to hit accidentally like Shift+Delete could be used to delete the
whole note but I'll worry about that some other time.)

I'll try and put together a patch for this today (i'll either submit something
later today or not at all)

there is already a general bug looking for more keybindings so I'm marking this
as a duplicate. If prefer you could always reopen this and depend on that bug
report.
