It's the 'famous' bug #137308. You're finding lots of crashes, François :-) If you have the possibility to reproduce the crash, a good stack trace would be a useful addition to bug #137308. Maybe a gconf dump of your panel configuration would be useful too (gconftool-2 --dump /apps/panel).
