Description Daniel Alonso 2005-01-12 01:45:07 UTC
I try to login to my account in my IPS's ftp server. The server is ftp.ya.com.
The login name is dalonso@ya.com.

1. Select "Connent to server" in Nautilus
2. Select "Ftp with login"
3. In the server field put ftp.ya.com
4. In the name field put dalonso@ya.com
5. Nautilus asks the password for dalonso@ya.com@ftp.ya.com. This is not the
actual user.

Hi. Thanks for the report. This is a long-standing issue. See bug 89106 for
more information.

Hi Ryan. I'm not sure we are talking about the same problem. Please could you
verify if both bugs are really the same. The problem I'm reporting is that
gnome-vfs is attaching an "@ftp.ya.com", that is the server name, to my login
name. But this is not the case: that is my login name is only "dalonso@ya.com"
(please take a look to the first screenshot) and
not "dalonso@ya.com@ftp.ya.com" as grome-vfs is trying to use (please take a
look to the second screenshot).

Maybe the 89106 bug is related to the conversion of "dalonso@ya.com"
to "dalonso%40ya.com" but then this is a different problem.

Am I wrong?

Thx a lot.
