Description Adrian Likins 2005-01-05 20:37:58 UTC
Not sure where exactly to put it, but probablt at least
the brush dialog should have a preview of what the currently
selected brush+paint options will look like.

Painter and PS both do this, and it's very handy for
quickly selecting an approriate brush/tool/etc.

See http://www.tiemdesign.com/tabindex-32/tabid-27/itemid-1927/DesktopDefault.aspx
or http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/brush7/intro/brush7.htm for
tutorials that show the brush selection dialog for ps/painter
and the stroke preview window (the "swish" looking preview
at the bottom of the dialog).

If we start adding more flexible paint tools, this will be
fairly essentially to make the added flexibility useable.

As mentioned in bug 739490, the presets would also need such a preview
these days.
