Subject: gnome-panel chrash Distribution: Debian 3.1 Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.8.1 2.8.x Gnome-Distributor: Debian Synopsis: gnome-panel chrash Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Workspace Switcher Applet Bugzilla-Version: 2.8.x BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0) Description: Description of the crash: The gnome-panel crashes if i want to remove the workspace switcher i added it to the panel and after that i just wanted to remove the switcher. i clicked remove from panel and nothing happend. I did it again, and the message "gnome-panel crashed restart, close, inform developers" Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. add workspace switcher to panel 2. right click on switcher and remove, nothing will happen, do it again, gnome-panel will crash. 3. Expected Results: How often does this happen? every time i want to remove the workspace switcher. Additional Information: Is there an conig file where i can remove the switcher manualy ? You can get this everytime? Awesome! The maintainers have wanted to track this problem down and maybe you could help. Could you try to get a stack trace with debugging symbols (see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/getting-traces.cgi) or try to figure out how to make it so others can duplicate and add any extra information to bug 137308? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 137308 ***
It'd be interesting to know if the workspace switcher was the last applet on your panel...
