Description sergio conde 2004-12-21 11:36:12 UTC
The program Gimp 2.2 is freezing on initialization of the
extension "extension_script_fu"
Comment 1 Joao S. O. Bueno 2004-12-21 12:11:24 UTC
OK.
It is nice that you've set this yourself to "needinfo". However, it normally
is the developers that set a bug to "needinfo" becasue it is impossible to
proceed any work in a bug without further imput from the bug reporter.

That is indeed the case here. The fact is that if the GIMP is freezing with
you, it is not freezing with everybody, or it would not had been released.

So you have to describe your system, whichi windows version do you have, and
were did you get your gimp build, wether dos it happen all times, and more
thongs you think can be relevant.

My guess is that gimp is picking up an old version of libgimp. The script-fu
extension won't start if it uses a libgimp dll from gimp-2.0.
