Description africk 2004-12-16 11:32:22 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg)
Package: nautilus
Severity: critical
Version: GNOME2.8.0 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: Nautilus crashes after selecting Filesystem in Browsermode
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Navigation
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:
I have several smb-mounts visible in the nautilus-browsermode. When i
open "Computer" (set to "always in browser mode") and select
"Filesystem" the Tree-widged confuses the entries. In the Tree-widget
all of the sudden a nearby visible smb-ount is selected instead of the
"Filesystem". On THe left the /-folder is visible. When i now select a
subfolder like /mnt nautilus crashes.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Mount several smbfs-mounts and open "Computer" in Browser-mode
2. Select "Filesystem"
3. Select any subfolder

Expected Results:
within the Tree-widget not "Filesystem" is highlighted, but a nearby
visible smb-mount. Therfore Nautilus crashes after selecting one of the
filesystem-folders.

How often does this happen?
several times

Additional Information:
The Mounts were added using webmin and are usable and accessible (fully
functional)
