Description Telsa Gwynne 2004-12-12 17:20:31 UTC
msgid "Boa Vista Aeropor-To"
        msgid "Caravelas Aeropor-To"
        msgid "Fortaleza Aeropor-To"
        msgid "Petrolina Aeropor-To"
        msgid "Ponta Pora Aeropor-To"
        msgid "Santa Cruz Aeropor-To"

Is this the correct spelling, or a search-and-replace-propagated
typo? And does it mean airport or something different? (If it
means airport, these all get translated, so it's handy to know.)

Not sure, nor am I even sure what language this is. Again try googling for the
weather codes.

Telsa, since I notice you've filed a lot of bugs against possible regressions in
the METAR database, I point you at bug #160163, which mentions requirements for
examining l10n in your area as well as giving a list of outstanding patches to
be applied (although it won't break that many strings).
Comment 2 Telsa Gwynne 2004-12-12 18:51:53 UTC
They're in Brazil (at least those I have googled), so I presume Portuguese,
and I can't find a pt speaker atm, so I shoved it here to remember it.

The email to gnome-i18n? Yeah, I know about it :) I am just updating diary
to point to it in the hope that it will catch people who wouldn't otherwise
contribute.

Must the Locations.xml.in file be in ascii, or can we have accented chars
and so on in it? All this discussion of "normalising to American English"
on the mailing lists at the moment is confusing me on this point.

They're all gone now at least.
