Gnome-terminal crashes when mouse moves
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1 Package: gnome-terminal Severity: normal Version: 2.8.0 Synopsis: Gnome-terminal crashes when mouse moves Bugzilla-Product: gnome-terminal Bugzilla-Component: general Bugzilla-Version: 2.8.0 BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0) Description: Description of the crash: Sometimes, gnome-terminal crashes for an unknown reason ; it may be a mouse move for instance. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Using an up to date SID Debian, move the mouse during an apt-get upgrade will crash gnome-terminal (it also crashes when I use mutt, but doing an apt-get upgrade WILL always crash gnome-terminal and is more reproducible) 2. 3. Expected Results: How often does this happen? Systematically when upgrading ; very often when I use the terminal. I have to use another terminal emulator since gnome-terminal is quite inusable for now. Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-terminal' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1". (no debugging symbols found) `system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols.
