Description MM 2004-12-09 21:02:53 UTC
-connect to an ftp server
-upload your file to the ftp site
-view the file using a webbrowser

You would expect to see a normal picture in your browser. You can still
recognise your picture, some blocks of the picture seem to be shifted sideways.
Uploading using gftp resulted in a normal picture. Reuploading using nautilus
resulted in broken image again.

I'm guessing this is a duplicate of bug 155271 (nautilus using ftp in ASCII mode
instead of binary). It should be fixed by using a recent gnome-vfs (2.8.3).
