GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 160095
Save playlist for radio stations
Last modified: 2018-05-24 10:39:00 UTC
It would be nice to be able to export and import playlists for radio stations, both a specific genre and the full library of radio stations. This would make it easy to share stations with friends and/or between different computers.
Perhaps the rhythmdb.xml file be split into two with one file specifying local files while the other specifying remote resources such as radio stations? This simple change could simplify sharing or migration between computers. Export and import of radio station list would also work.

I am also interested in this functionality. After switching to Rhythmbox, my list has grown, and I would like access to the most current version. I'm thinking of the type of function available in the old xmms, where you click List > Save List, and choose the format you prefer. An m3u format may be preferable to splitting the rhythmdb.xml file, for compatibility with other applications.

I provided some rationale for breaking the data file into two in the Ubuntu bug report I created: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/951977
