Description enolive 2004-11-29 17:45:20 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg)
Package: eggcups
Severity: major
Version: GNOME2.8.0 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: Eggcups did not restart and will not restart on reboot of new Kernel
Bugzilla-Product: eggcups
Bugzilla-Component: session-cupsd
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:

I just upgraded my Fedora system to the latest kernel (2.6.9-1.681_FC3).
Upon reboot of the system it stated that eggcups did not start. After
trying to restart eggcups manually it still would not initalize. The
system itself is stable but eggcups is not working any longer. I also
tried switching back to the old kernel 2.6.9-1.667 to see if this would
resolve the problem. The problem exists on both kernel deployments. I
don't know if this is a problem with eggcups or with the kernel changes.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Turn off the machine
2. Boot Machine
3. Login
4. Error comes up right away

Expected Results:

Clean boot with no problems starting processes

How often does this happen?

Everytime I reboot
