Description Benjamin Otte (Company) 2004-11-26 00:59:22 UTC
1) point totem to a http:// or other remote file, preferrably on a slow server
2) play file until it's done
3) play file again

expected behaviour:
4) the file plays back immediately from a cache

observed behaviour:
4) totem reconnects to the server and downloads the file again

This is an issue with both the Xine and GStreamer backends.
While I'm at it: It would also be nice if totem could offer a "save a copy
as..." menu entry like other programs do when viewing remote files and webstreams.
