Description simon 2004-11-23 14:34:09 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1
Package: nautilus
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.8.1 2.8.2
Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: Nautilus crashes on slow SMB connections
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: 2.8.2
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:
Nautilus crash

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. SMB running over a slow VPN
2. Browse for a bit
3. Do something else for a while
4. Go back to browse, Nautilus crash

Expected Results:
Slow is fine but crash isn't so good

How often does this happen?
Almost always when this particular VPN is running very slow

Additional Information:
Not hugely important since it crashes quite cleanly and doesn't take out
anything else with it (i'm a linux newbie)
