Description Michael Gratton 2004-11-23 12:59:33 UTC
With the advent of the new MIME system in Gnome/Nautilus 2.8, the context menu
for folders does not display any options for opening the folder in anything
other than Nautilus.

The ability to open a directory with another application is quite useful, for
example: opening a directory full of images with gThumb.

Part of the implementation seems to be there; I can specify other applications
using the "Open With tab of the properties dialog for folders, but any
applications I add never show up in the folder context menu.
