usb printer was switched off. left on for reboot as test. When next
logout from Gnome and re-login eggcups nofitication on screen - and
could not re-set (also a gnome volume manager message also)

I have now seen that is is related to the known bug 140081

I guess this should be closed or cross-referenced ?
For reference I am running fc3 final and updated as of 21 Nov 04
Machine is a Dell Dimension 2400

It doesn't match that bug at all.  However, it is a duplicate of bug 158733.
