Description Markus Bertheau 2004-11-14 09:49:31 UTC
1. Set up a ssh connection in nautilus to somewhere.
2. Set up a password protected ssh key so that when you have run ssh-add you can
access the ssh connection without a password. Copy your key over and so on.
3. Have your ssh key unlocked, open a folder (A) on the ssh connection and make
it a bit bigger.
4. Log out and back in. Your ssh key should be locked by now.
5. Observe how on the place of the folder (A) window the authentication window
appears, prompting you to enter your password. It has the size of the folder (A)
window - much too big.

I'm not sure to understand the description. What dialog is too big, the
keyring/nautilus one ? could you attach a screenshot of the bug ?
Comment 2 Markus Bertheau 2005-02-04 21:33:33 UTC
The keyring/nautilus one, yes. I'm attaching a screenshot.

Comment 4 Sebastien Bacher 2005-02-05 01:01:01 UTC
weird. What window manager are you using ?
Comment 5 Markus Bertheau 2005-02-05 11:41:28 UTC
Metacity.
Comment 6 Sebastien Bacher 2005-02-05 12:50:27 UTC
in fact this dialog is not the keyring one. What version of nautilus/GNOME are
you using ?
Comment 7 Markus Bertheau 2005-02-05 12:56:09 UTC
This is an up to date FC3 installation. GNOME version 2.8.0, nautilus 2.8.1.
Comment 8 Martin Wehner 2005-03-01 14:24:22 UTC
That dialog lives in libgnomeui, reassigning.
