Description Danielle Madeley 2004-11-11 11:13:16 UTC
We should consider redesigning the menu layout to increase usability and make
commonly used applications more easily found (this is what MacOS did and what
Windows XP can now do).

Previous thoughts on menu layouts:
http://lists.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2004-June/msg00302.html

There is also the possibility of the Ubuntu layout, perhaps there are some ideas
there.

There is loose relation between this bug and #155449 and they could probably be
resolved simultaneously.

usability-maint: I don't have any strong opinions here, so if any of you guys
want to work on getting this figured out, it would be much appreciated.

We don't need a new bug about this. We need people to decide.
