On running DIA, a DOS window pops up with the following message in it:
I/O warning : failed to load external entity "NULL"

Dia starts, apparently normally.

If I close the DOS window, DIA closes.
If I leave it open, DIA appears to work -haven't tested the functionality too 
much yet.
