Normally Arabic words are tied together: "shaping". But when an accelarator is btw two chars of that word in a tab (and only in the tab) the word is no more shaped correctly. Not sure if this is pango, gtk+ or an translation error. Trying pango first.
Does the english text for the tab have a working underlined mnemonic ?
I'm guessing translation errror ... Arafat - can you track down the .po file for this app and see if there is anything weird about those strings?

I just tested the Persian translations with latest Pango from HEAD, and the one on FC3, both works. This was fixed back in 2002. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 83058 ***
