Description Laurent Martelli 2004-10-26 00:41:49 UTC
Disabling tooltips does not work, I guess it's because the ToolTips I used to
set them on the buttons is not the same as the one used by the ToolBar. But
since I can't find a way to get the ToolTips from the ToolBar, there seems to be
no way to make it work.

From a cursory investigation, it doesn't seem like we are doing anything wrong.
We should try to check if this works with a c only example.

If you're using Glade, setting ToolTips there (regardless of Widget type) "Just
Works"(tm).

Laurent: can we close this, or are you still experiencing the problem with libgtk-java 2.8.x and friends?
