Description DmD (Spider) Ljungmark 2004-10-19 12:06:33 UTC
( The following bugreports have accumulated caused us to drop support for
epiphany in our current desktop release. They have been deemed overall to be
annoying enough to warrant replacing Epiphany with Mozilla, which still suffers
from theese, and other bugs, but appears more consistent. )

When opening a New Tab from the menu, the text input field doesn't have focus.
This is undesired. A user who explicitly wants a new tab can be expected to want
to type an URL (or use a bookmark / paste a link) and in such a case it is
expected to use the URL input field.

Yes, we know. It's a mozilla bug.

Just curious, who is "us" ?

"Us" in this case being the linux desktop part of TakeIT, developing Gnome
based "medium thick" clients for schools and so on. :-)
