Description Keywan Najafi Tonekaboni 2004-10-16 09:42:29 UTC
there should be an option to disable the password manager. on internet-cafe's
and other places where a lot of different people use the the computer without an
own account this feature is just annoying or dangerous, when newbies dont
understand it and click on "Yes, save my password". Then other could have access
to their mails or something else.

i prefere an gconf checkbox to deactivate it. if this and two other options are
possible (i reported them also), we could use epiphany as default browser in our
internet-cafe

You can already disable the password manager by using the relevent about:config
pref - signon.rememberSignons

Marking NOTABUG.

thanks, but shouldnt this be a gconf option? about:config is not very user
friendly...
