Additional note: It seems that what is required to reproduce the crash is dragging ONE file with a Hebrew name and ONE or more file with any name.

I'd like to try to reproduce to provide a stack trace with debugging symbols. But, I don't know Hebrew. Could you attach a file whose contents are simply the name of the Hebrew file? (Then I'll try to use cut&paste or something to generate files appropriately; also note to self: Bug 149202 may be related, but it appears to be talking about invalid unicode so I'm not sure if it's a fair test case here...)
Reopening to mark as a duplicate of bug 107262.
