Description Edd Dumbill 2004-09-29 22:05:35 UTC
from http://bugs.debian.org/273927

Package: epiphany-browser
Version: 1.2.8-1
Severity: wishlist

I just imported my bookmarks from galeon into epiphany. My galeon bookmarks
are hierarchically organized, so I have many bookmarks ending up in several
topics.

Now, I need to remove lots of these bookmarks from topics that would
otherwise become overly broad. On the other hand, I don't want to remove
those topics alltogether.

Currently, the only way to do this, is to select every bookmark
individually, scroll down the list of topics, and uncheck the topic I want
to remove the bookmark from. This becomes very tedious when more than a
few bookmarks are concerned.

An option 'Remove from this topic' (perhaps with a more concise wording),
in the same menus the 'Delete' option would, to my mind, be a marked
improvement.

Related to this, drag-and-drop support for moving a bookmark to another
topic, in addition to copying, would also be welcome.
