Description of Problem:

This report is about gpdf 2.8.0

Clicking a PDF file on a SMB share in nautilus launches gpdf. But
instead of opening the file, a warning pops up, saying: loading
smb:///foo/share/bar.pdf failed. Permission denied.

Expected Results:

Transparent handling of GNOME VFS URIs is a _must_ for all GNOME apps.
In particular for those that are likely to be used on a daily basis.
gpdf is one of them.

I'm separating the bugs again and make this a blocker for bug 143865.

When this bug is fixed, launching from nautilus or a terminal should work. The
other bug is about a dialog for opening uris from inside gpdf.

Since gpdf is obsolete now, this bug can probably be closed, right?
